1. What we provide
We build and operate local service websites. For each trade in each city, we forward the phone calls those websites receive to one subscribing business (your “line”). We are a referral and marketing service. We are not a contractor, we do not perform any work, and we do not set or collect your prices.
2. Who can use the service
The service is for businesses only. You must be at least 18, authorized to act for your business and, for any trade that requires a state license, hold a current license for that trade in that state and keep it current. You alone are responsible for your work, prices, estimates, permits, warranties, insurance and compliance with the law, and for how you treat the customers who call.
3. Free trial
Each line starts with a free trial. No payment card is needed and nothing is charged. A trial lasts at least 7 days. We make a paid offer only after your line has had real calls. If a trial reaches 30 days without any real calls, it ends at no cost and we may offer the line to another business. You can end a trial at any time by telling us.
4. Subscription, price and billing
- If you accept our offer, your line becomes a monthly subscription at the price stated in your offer and on our Pricing page.
- Founding Partner prices stay locked while your subscription stays active without interruption.
- Subscriptions are month to month, have no setup fee and no minimum term, and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- You pay in advance, in US dollars, by card through our payment processor, Stripe. Your card is charged on your start date and on the same date each month after that.
- If a payment fails, we may pause call forwarding until it is resolved.
- We will email you at least 30 days before any change to the price of an active subscription.
5. Ring-or-Refund Guarantee
If your line receives fewer real calls in a service month than the minimum written in your offer, we refund 100% of that month’s fee. How real calls are counted, how the refund is paid and the timelines are in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by replying “cancel” to any of our emails or by writing to hello@phonesthatring.com. Cancellation stops all future charges. Your current paid month runs to its end, and then call forwarding stops.
7. Exclusivity
While your subscription is active and in good standing, we will not forward calls from your line’s website to any other business in your trade. We may run websites for other trades in your city and for your trade in other cities.
8. Calls and customer information
Calls are not recorded. We log call details (caller number, date, time and length) to forward calls, send your missed-call emails and prepare your monthly call report. You may use a caller’s information only to respond to that caller’s request. You may not sell it, share it or add it to marketing lists. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
9. Text messages
Text messages are optional and governed by our SMS / Texting Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may pause or end your line if a payment fails and is not resolved, if a required license lapses, or if callers are treated unlawfully or abusively. If we end a paid subscription for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of your current month.
11. No guarantee of results
Call volume depends on things we do not control, such as season, weather and search engines. Apart from the Ring-or-Refund Guarantee, we do not promise any number of calls, jobs or revenue. The service is provided “as is”.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and email active subscribers about material changes.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
